Hybrid event. Participants most of them being Nairobi University students, Siaya County Administration members, Kenya Forest Service (KFS) and Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) officials, guests from Germany.
Research activitites
Students from the University of Tübingen (Germany) held a one-day seminar on the site in preparation for an excursion through Kenya.

Two scientists from the University of Bayreuth with a focus on microbiology and molecular biology are supporting the staff and colleagues on site to set up the equipment and make it operational for future work in the laboratory.
