Network Statistics

The macroorganismal family-level co-occurrence networks of the ITCER monitoring sites are continuously computed using the information from the ITCER Macrobiome Image Gallery. Current versions must be regarded as preliminary due to insufficient sample representativeness and to serve as a proof of concept. The node icons are precursory and under construction. Species pair abundances, reflected by edge thickness, are based on co-occurrence records of taxa, not of individuals.
